James Cabins #1 w/ HOT TUB! No Cleaning Fees

Historic studio cabin in the heart of Grand Lake Village. Two blocks from the lake and Marina. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops. kitchenette, bathroom with shower and cooking essentials as well as a little private back yard with table and chairs! Perfectly located near everything, yet quiet and nestled in a charming courtyard. (one friendly dog permitted) The cabin is located right in the heart of the village. There are a total of four small cabins nestled on the lot. The outside area is so charming and the inside of the little cabin is cozy and clean. There is a shower, kitchenette with toaster, range top, coffee & tea, and small refrigerator and plates, silverware, pots/pans and glassware in a studio layout. No microwave or oven. You should have the tools you need to be able to cook a full meal. There is a small private yard in the back of the cabin with a table and chairs for picnicking and lounging in the sun. There is a communal area in the back of the property with a fire pit, and hot tub in the back yard. These are old cabins built in 1937. While all the amenities are updated and they're very safe and very clean they are also very rustic (wood walls, small showers,etc.) but the heaters are warm the linens are new and the water is hot! They have tons of charm and we hope you love them as much as we do! If you're looking for a rustic, charming, unique experience then this is your place. Otherwise, the nearest Ramada Inn is 112 miles away. ;) You have full access to your private cabin as well as a small private backyard with table & chairs. There is a shared communal area with a fire pit and hot tub. Over the winter the back yard is more of a snow mound but we provide shovels and some wood if you're adventurous and would like to try to roast marshmallows. Enjoy a soak in the new COMMUNAL hot tub until 9:00pm and please, absolutely no smoking in or near the hot tub You are given the code to unlock the deadbolt to the door in case we aren't there to meet you at arrival. We respond quickly to any phone calls or messages and strive to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. We are happy to speak over the phone prior to your arrival or during your stay if you need anything at all. Grand Lake is Colorado's largest natural lake and the town has great appeal being 2.5 mi from the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. You can walk to many restaurants and shops all from one block away. We are right across the street from the village park/playground. There are covered picnic areas and many of the town events are held here. Grand Lake hosts tons of great events and tons of outdoor recreation! Snowmobiling is popular in the winter with many nearby trails. Greyhound services Grand Lake and there is a seasonal tourist company that does drives through Rocky Mountain National Park. Once you are at our cabins you can walk the entire town. Grand Lake is known as The snowmobiling capital of Colorado! Snowmobile rentals are available blocks away and snowmobile parking is available at our cabins! You can get to Grand Lake YEAR ROUND via I-70. *** NOTE: In Rocky Mountain National Park Trail Ridge Road is closed through from Estes Park over the winter. Check with RMNP website or call to see if the road is open if you plan to drive to Grand Lake during Fall or Spring. We've purchased this property in 2015 and are so excited to share it with our guests. The property has a hobbit like feel with trees, stone walkways, and cabins all nestled in a charming location. The water for this cabin comes from the neighboring cabin. During the winter you must run the water for a minute or two for the warm water to reach the cabin. We are looking into installing a hot water heater in the future. You should be able to have nice long hot showers but please let us know if you have any issues so we can work on improvements.
